Parbeen is an Associate and Senior Birth Injury Solicitor within our Medical Negligence Department, with vast experience in advising clients on a wide range of medical negligence claims after having sustained catastrophic injuries.
Parbeen specialises in all types of birth injury claims and has developed a distinct interest and sub-speciality in women’s health. As a respected and dedicated legal professional, Parbeen is a keen supporter of ‘Tommys’, a pregnancy and baby loss charity that funds research into stillbirth, premature birth and miscarriage. As well as this, she avidly supports the Child Brain Injury Trust - a charity that supports families and professionals working with children and young people who find themselves in need of information about what’s happened and how to cope with acquired brain injury.

Notable Cases
Anonymised case:
The client sustained a GMFCS level 5 birth injury following a negligent delay in his birth. Parbeen and her team served an early letter of claim and liability was established in full when the client was aged 18 months. Interim payment received in excess of £1.3 to date and estimated value of the claim in excess of £20 million.

Acting on behalf of her birth injury client who sustained hypoxic injury at birth leading to neurodevelopmental problems. Achieved a pre-trial settlement of £1.5 million lump sum plus PPO.

Acted on behalf of her diabetic client who underwent above knee amputation following mismanagement of an ulcer on his foot. Achieved a settlement of £250,000.
